2. Information that may identify specific individuals contained in information about campaign applicants, etc. entrusted to us by our customers and media companies.
3. Personal information of the members of the website we operate.
4. Information that may identify specific individuals contained in information we have collected in our other businesses.
5. The personal information of the officers and employees of our company, our affiliates and our business partners.
"Basic principles for the protection of personal information"
We will clarify and comply with the following basic principles in the handling of personal information.
1. Compliance with related laws and regulations
We will comply with laws and ordinances, regulations, contracts, internal rules and the like related to the handling of personal information.
2. Proper acquisition and use of personal information acquired from the individual
When acquiring an individual's personal information from the individual themselves, we will first explain to them the purpose of use of the information, whether the information can be provided to third parties and, if so, the purpose of provision to third parties. If there has been a change to the purpose of use of that information or to the third party to whom that information will be provided, then we will notify the individual thereof and obtain their consent for the same. We will use their information only within the scope of the individual's approval. If the individual has refused to allow usage of their information in whole or in part, we will comply with said wishes. We will endeavor to maintain the accuracy of personal information collected from the individual and will comply with requests by the individual to disclose, correct or delete their personal information.
3. Confirmation of the appropriateness of information entrusted to us in the course of business, and proper use and safety management thereof
We will confirm the method of acquisition and the approved scope of use of any personal information entrusted to us by our customers and media companies in the course of business. We will then properly use this information in compliance with the requests of our customers, etc. and our own internal rules.
4. Education of officers and employees
We will regularly implement educational awareness activities to promote an understanding of the importance of personal information protection, compliance with laws, management systems, rules on the handling of personal information and measures to take in the event of a violation amongst our officers and employees. We will also encourage the proper handling of personal information and compliance with laws and rules.
5. Establishment of an information handling management system
We will clarify the internal management and responsibility system and appoint a personal information administrator in order to protect personal information.
6. Clarification of information handling
We will establish rules on the safe and proper handling of personal information that include provisions on the viewing, usage, storage, disposal and return of personal information, etc. These rules will be enforced by the personal information administrator.
7. Measures to prevent unauthorized access
We will properly formulate and implement measures such as information systems and information management systems in order to prevent the theft, loss, tampering and destruction of personal information through unauthorized access.
