- ・Is Chappet turned on?

Press and hold the power button on the backside of Chappet for three seconds to turn the power on. You will hear a whistling noise when it is turned on. If Chappet is out of battery, please charge it using the
provided charging cable.
- ・Are you close enough to Chappet?

Make sure you are within 10 meters (without any obstacles) from Chappet.
- ・Is Chappet connected to another smartphone?

Chappet can only be connected to one smartphone at a time. Disconnect Chappet from the paired smartphone and try again.
- ・Is your smartphone connected to other Bluetooth devices?

Please make sure that your smartphone is not connected to any other device via Bluetooth. Even in case you were able to pair Chappet to your smartphone while being connected to another Bluetooth device, Chappet may not function properly. Please disconnect all Bluetooth devices before paring with Chappet.
- ・Are you near a microwave or other equipment that emits electromagnetic waves?

Please use Chappet away from equipment that emits electromagnectic waves.
- ・Does your smartphone/tablet support HFP?

Some features may not be used on smartphones/tablets that do not support HFP.
- Please try the following.

・Open smartphone "Settings." Disable Bluetooth and then try turning it on again.
・Turn off the Chappet device and try turning it on again.
- ・Is your smartphone paired with any Bluetooth device other than Chappet?

Even in case you were able to pair Chappet to your smartphone while being connected to another Bluetooth device, Chappet may not function properly. Please disconnect all Bluetooth devices before paring with Chappet.
- ・Press and hold the power button for three seconds.

The problem may be due to insufficient memory on your smartphone. Please close other apps that are running or restart your smartphone and see if there is an improvement. Refer to your smartphone manual for operating instructions.
Adjust the volume by using your smartphone's volume button or by using the volume bar at the lower section of the menu. Please note that audio may crack when output in maximum volume. Keep ample distance from your (or your child's) ear.
Only one Chappet can be controlled at one time from one smartphone.
One Chappet device cannot be operated from multiple smartphones at once. To switch the Chappet-operating smartphone, disconnect the smartphone currently paired with Chappet and reconnect to Chappet from another smartphone.
